AMP it up.

AMP Multimedia

This piece of software looks interesting for the creation of multimedia items. You can incorporate video, audio, office components, documentation, scripts and just about anything that you can view in a browser.

Could be very useful for creating VLE content, and at £45 a year it looks like a snip.

TeacherTube

Posted by perthltc on March 3, 2008

Often, if you want a short video clip on a common topic, the chances are that it already exists out there. YouTube is always worth a search as is TeacherTube which is obviously a little more specialised.

If you find something you want, you can usually embed it in a web or blog page, or in your VLE, like the clip below from TeacherTube. Embedding it has the advantage that you will have no copyright worries, as you are embedding (hosting) rather than copying the content. Unless the original content is suspect, of course: common sense is required. On the downside, the owner might delete the content without notice.

The video below is about learning styles. Click on the play icon to view it.
