The Learning Technology Centre (LTC) offers support and guidance for staff wishing to develop various types of non-standard provision including distance learning. This covers the design, development, and delivery of flexible learning programmes (paper-based, on-line and mixed mode) and includes technical, methodological and pedagogical advice.
The principal aim of the LTC is to raise the standards of learning and teaching across the College and improve the quality of the student learning experience by:

• supporting the process of learning and teaching and encouraging the dissemination of good practice

• stimulating and maximizing the potential for innovation in learning and teaching

• monitoring and evaluating current and prospective developments in learning and teaching

• maximizing the effectiveness and efficiency of learning provision.
